The picturesque region of Normandy is littered with apple orchards, distilleries and cellars, and is famed for its Calvados production, a type of apple or pear brandy. Distillation and cider production has been taking place in Normandy since the 1500s and is part of the region’s history. It’s made by fermenting apples to make into cider, before distilling it to be made into brandy. During this unique experience, you’ll get the chance to make your very own bottle of Calvados. We’ll arrange a Calvados blending workshop for you with the cellar master to learn all about what tastes and flavors pair best with the apples. You’ll then be taught how to make your very own Calvados. When your product is complete, your spirit will be sealed in a personalized bottle for you to take back home as a unique souvenir.
