Provence isi deal for exploring on two wheels and discovering its landscapes at a slower pace. There are several bicycle tours to choose from around the region, depending on what you’d like to see along the way. Our classic tour takes you from Bonnieux, along theperched villages of Lacoste, Menerbes and Oppede, and lasts around three to four hours. Along the way we’ll stop at the the Marquis de Sade castle in Lacoste, check out the truffle and wine house in Menerbes and the medieval village of Oppede. Our other itineraries pass through the villages of Gordes and Roussillon and are particularly stunning during lavender season, when the whole landscape turns a bright purple. Or you could choose to cycle around the Alpille mountainous region, from Saint Remy de Provence to Les Baux and Maussane les Alpilles. This will take three to four hours with optional extra visits to wineries and museums.
