The region is also known for its excellent chicken, lamb and beef. All the major cities and towns in the area have their own food markets, including those in Orléans, Tours and Nantes. This experience will feature a visit to a typical regional market where we’ll shop for fresh ingredients and enjoy sampling the produce as we go. We’ll then head back to the kitchens, where you’ll learn how to cook simple French cuisine with the very best Loire ingredients. You’ll enjoy the fruits of your labor for lunch, paired with local wines.
