Truffles are one of Provence’s most prized delicacies. A type of fungi, they add pungent and fragrant flavors to many dishes, and are among some of the world’s most expensive foods. Our truffle tour will usually take place in the Luberon area of Provence from November to mid-March. Here, with the help of specially-trained dogs, we’ll search out these ‘black diamonds’ on the grassy slopes and in between limestone cliffs. These tours usually begin in the evening around 5 or 6pm. If you choose, we can also add on a tour of the famous Carpentras Truffle Market during the day time.
