The Loire Valley, in particular, is one of France’s most stunning regions for wine tasting, where vineyards are set in between graceful chateaux. The experience itself will take place in an old winemaker’s home, where you will be met by a wine expert and learn all about the different Loire wines. You will enjoy a comprehensive tasting of quality wines from different areas of the region, which illustrate the diversity of its wines and types of grape. The Loire produces everything from rosés and dry whites to gris wines and sparkling varieties. You will then sit down for a home-cooked lunch, followed by a tasting of some top-quality cheeses with a master cheesemaker or fromager. The Loire Valley is particularly known for its quality goat’s cheeses.
